Growth of ICT SMEs in Uganda

Soon after participating on the G-Uganda local panel during the developer days in September, Today I participate in a discussion involving Uganda's ICT entrepreneur leaders. The 90 minute session, taking place at the HIVE COLLAB, will focus on issues related to Growth of ICT SMEs in Uganda. I hope this goes a long way in enabling organisations and other enterpreneurs in getting an approach to helping ICT enterpreneurs in Uganda.

Makerere GTUG

This year has seen the initiation of the Makerere GTUG (Google Technology User Group). The group brings together students interested in learning more about Google Technologies, sharing and developing with them. The group will launch in August of this, on the Faculty of Computing open day and will feature a code clinic from a member of the Google Africa Team. Join and be a part of this.

Kampala-GTUG

This week will see the Launch of Kampala GTUG at the Google Offices Uganda on saturday 27th March.
Kampala GTUG is managed by Oluka of Appafrica Labs Uganda. A GTUG is one where a developer can learn how to use Google technologies ranging from google AJAX APIs,Google Data APIs, Google Web Toolkit among others.
